“A painting is nothing more than color on canvas, unless it moves the viewer."

Creating art brings me joy. I want to share that joy with everyone who views my work. It’s important to me that viewers connect with my paintings; thus, I often choose subject matter intending to elicit emotion. I want to tell a story. Sunsets and sunrises are among my favorite subjects to paint as there is promise in a day's end of a new day's beginning.

Painting wildlife, landscapes, and historical architecture also top my list of favorites. I have an affinity for birds of prey, specifically. There's something about photographing eagles, hawks, and owls - bringing them to life on canvas that touches my soul and makes me smile!

I'm hopeful my passion for my art shines through in every piece I create. -
